Tallahassee Real Estate Market Update September 2012

Tallahassee Real Estate Market Update September 2012

Tallahassee FL –  As we are able to compare home sales within the past month and years it shows us that we are presently bumping along the bottom in the Tallahassee Real Estate Market.
In September the normal seasonal adjustment with lower sales and more homes on the market has been taken place. The inventory has slightly increased and sales have decreased. Compared to past year sales we have become steady with September sales.
Distressed Sales still streaming in record numbers into our market and ruling the Tallahassee Real Estate Market in September.
Even so  the nation has seen number of foreclosures filing falling,  Tallahassee has seen an increase of foreclosure filings. This will have an impact on prices in our region when they will enter the market. Since Florida is a judicial state this foreclosures need some time before they will enter the market and will slow the recovery even further.
Even so we have heard and seen lately many positive outlook reports on a national real estate level and in major areas we don’t think so it is necessarily the case with the Tallahassee Real Estate Market.
Please remember every market is locally and we don’t think that we have reached a turning market in Tallahassee but instead we are bumping along the bottom.
We hope that this Tallahassee market report gives you a better understanding and useful information to make an educated decision with your real estate transaction.
