September is designated Hunger Action month
September is the designated Hunger Action month in our South Florida communities. We focus all month long on helping out to fight hunger in our community. Friday Night Sounds September 09, 16, 23 and 30th
Another fun event not to miss is every Friday night along Fort Lauderdale Beach. You enjoy life music and listen to the Ocean Waves. All live music events are along A1A and Las Olas Blvd on the beach promenade. Music is played by Pocket Change (9), Uproot Hootenanny (16), Hot Legs Tina Turner (23) and Joel DaSilvia & The Midnight Owls (30). The events start at 5:30pm-8.30pm. Sunday Jazz Brunch (1st Sunday of the month)
Finally, Sunday Jazz Brunch is back for the season and held every first Sunday of the month from 11am-2pm along the river on Riverwalk. The fun part about it bring your own picnic, picnic chairs, blankets and enjoy free music. No chance to get your picnic here no problem many vendors have food and drinks available for you. This is a fun event to meet new and old friends and enjoy the South Florida flair.
Riverwalk Fall Festival-09/24
Celebrate Fall at the Riverwalk Fall Festival with family-oriented celebrations along Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk. Don’t miss the family-friendly event with activities for all ages.
