Now that you are suited for Halloween lets the fun begin. Since we are in a coastal town why not start Halloween with a Halloween Dive? I think that is a cool idea and different from the rest started by South Florida Diving Headquarters. Join them for their Haunted Wreck Dive on October 29, 2016, at 8AM in the morning. Boo! By The Sea in Lauderdale by the Sea offers a Trick or Treat Halloween Stroll Saturday, October 29, 2016 for kids from 2-11. The fun starts at 3.30-6.30 pm. . Many of the small businesses around town square host event such as Ballon Twister, Face painting, Pirate ship, Fiore Truck, Cookie Decoration and much more.
Haunted houses are back and always is a part of our Halloween events. Those let you stand your hears in the back of your neck. You find Haunted Houses on October 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th at the Pompano Beach Rotary Haunted House Mansion. Explore the darker side of Fort Lauderdale from October 21-October 31 from 6pm-8pm with a walk along New River through the old Down Town Fort Lauderdale. There is so much history around downtown with spooky stories about the past and the beginning days of Fort Lauderdale. It is believed that the old souls are still being around. So be prepared.
Halloween Block Parties
The biggest South Florida Holloween Block Party is on Oct. 29 and Oct 30 near downtown on 214 Southwest 2nd Street Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. A $5,000 Costume Content is one of the highlights at 10pm. Around 6pm a DJ will get the party up and running with music and dancing. You can go bar hopping until 4am in the morning.
