Florida Foreclosure Breaking News: Request for Foreclosure Review Extended By Three Month-New Deadline

Florida – Breaking News for home owners who faced Foreclosure action during 2009 and 2010.

The Federal Reserve and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has announced late last night that home owners now can file for their case review until July 31, 2012 instead as by April 30,2012. This is a three month extension and gives homeowners more time to file for a case assessment and submit their request for an  independent foreclosure review through a third party.

Home owners request for independent foreclosure review are eligible when they believe they suffered financial injury as a result of errors in their foreclosure action between 2009-2010.

The independent foreclosure reviews, as mandated and enforced by the federal regulatory agencies, only appliesto the mortgage servicers and their subsidiaries that were subject to the enforcement actions handed down by the OCC and Fed on April 13th of last year.

If you are a Borrower and was subject to improper Foreclosure action between January 01,2009 and  December 31,2010 and belief that you was financial injured by the foreclosure action you are eligible for a foreclosure review if your loan was serviced by one of the participating companies as stated above and the action was filed against your primary residence.

There are no costs for borrowers who want to file the Foreclosure Review.
