Lauderdale by the Sea is located within the postal codes of 33308 and 33062.

A small unique Beach Town right on the pristine Beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean on the east side and Intracoastal on the Westside, between Pompano Beach to the north and Fort Lauderdale Beach to the south the town has remained his own flair.

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway living in is still convenient on this small barrier island. 

For those who don’t can or want to walk, the town of Lauderdale by the Sea provides their own “Pelican Hopper”, a town free shuttle bus who lets you explore the surrounding areas.

Residents have access to private and State schools. The closed private high school just over the Intracoastal bridge is Cardinal Gibbons High School.  You can find more information on our Broward County school district or on the national education website  or www.greatschools.org.

Lauderdale by the Sea offers a variety of excellent restaurants, shopping, shopping center, supermarkets and drug stores.

The Farmers Markets is open seasonal from November to June. The event is held on every other Sunday from 9am-2pm. The location is just perfect right in front of our own Town Hall.

Parks and Recreation

There is nothing more breathtaking than the stretch of white sandy beach with turquoise water of the Atlantic Ocean in Lauderdale by the Sea. Our Anglins Fishing peers just give’s it the final touch.

Commute

For those who don’t can or want to walk, the town provides it’s own “Pelican Hopper”, a town free shuttle bus who lets you explore more of the areas around. If you want to go  on the Florida Highway, also know as I-95, it is a 10 minutes drive and is easily accessible.
